A reminder that the $55.00 membership renewal fee will be deducted off of your first honorarium cheque in the 2010 season (for all those who have attended a 2010 umpire clinic. For anyone who has not attended a current clinic, a fee of $110.00 will be deducted. P.S. Payment Options
As discussed at the spring meeting, we will try a pilot project with regards to umpire remuneration this year.
Three options are available.
1) Same as last year.--Monthly cheque sent out 7-10 days after the end of the month.
2) Two cheques per season.-- Cheques issued up to and including games done in June on the first cheque ( early July ) and a second cheque issued at the end of baseball season (typically the end of September, unless you're involved with fall ball or other late season ball ). The second cheque will be issued at the beginning of October unless your still working games, at which point you will receive a cheque at the end of ball season.( end of October ?? )
3) One cheque issued at the end of baseball season for all games worked through out the year.
Remember that CABUA dues will be subtracted from first cheque issued by CABUA. Option #1 is the default payment method if no other option is selected.
If you wish to help CABUA reduce it's banking and postage fees by selecting option #2 or #3, you must send an email to Doug Mann and Anne Delude to express your choice. Doug Mann or Anne Delude
Please inform them of your choice as soon as possible as the first month end is quickly approaching. Take a minute now to send them your preference in order to ease the work load on them.
