Dear Little League Canada District Administrator:

There is some exciting news that has come out of the November Annual Board of Directors meeting that took place in Toronto.

In an effort to standardize the uniforms for umpires working Canadian Championships across the country, effective for the 2010 season, the Board of Directors has mandated the use of these uniforms for all Canadian Regional level championships. Little League Canada has made arrangements with Honig’s Whistle Stop Canada to supply a standardized uniform.

The uniforms included in this package include hat, shirt (black or powder blue), and a combo pant for working the plate or the bases. Honig’s also supplies jackets, and other equipment. These additional items are not a part of this package this year.

There is an order sheet available from Little League Canada’s office or on our web site (sample attached). While these uniforms must be used for Regional Level Tournaments in 2010, we encourage the use of these standardized uniforms at all levels of tournament play. All orders need to be in no later than May 15, 2010 in order to ensure stock and timely delivery.

All orders must be completed and be forwarded to the Little League Canada office. All arrangements are between the Tournament Host Committee and Honig’s Whistle Stop Canada.

We are confident that this will improve the consistency of the look of the umpires that are officiating at the Canadian Championship level.
